It’s official, my daughter has the bug…the creative bug, that is! It all started with an old fashioned knitting doll that grandma bought for her. After numerous woollen bracelets, she moved onto finger knitting, however, her heart belongs to crochet. She has made all sorts of things and is a pin-a-holic so gets lots of ideas from there too. Everyone is receiving crocheted gifts for birthdays and it was her most recent creation, for her friend, that I just had to share.
This beautiful hearts and flowers hanging decoration was made by crocheting three hearts and making three flowers on a round loom. She strung them together and put pretty pink beads in between. The top was threaded with ribbon and looped for hanging, the bottom was finished off with a beautiful butterfly bead. I would’ve liked to get a picture of it hanging, but it was too difficult as it’s nearly one metre in length. I’m so glad she’s got the bug and so proud that she can make something so beautiful to look at, and she’s only ten!
